There are ways to help prevent hair color from staining around the hair line.
The hairline around the face can be very porous for some, especially if using skincare products containing alpha-hydroxy compounds or exfoliators. There are a few measures that can be taken to eliminate the dark bands/staining that can sometimes occur:
- If the skin around the hairline is very porous, a barrier cream can be applied, paying particular attention not to touch the hair as this can interfere with the gray coverage.
