What happens if my flat iron doesn’t have a calibrated temperature setting?

To check if your flat iron will work correctly when processing STRIKE4, check the temperature calibration through the manufacturer and/or perform a test-strand.

It is possible that the iron is calibrated at a higher temperature than the recommended 375°
Fahrenheit. If you cannot locate the temperature calibration through the manufacturer,
complete a quick, 20-second test strand to determine if the product will liquify before 5 passes
are complete.
If the product does become liquid and thin, complete another test strand using a medium
setting, if applicable. If the flat iron only has an on/off switch, complete a test strand using 3 or 4
passes instead of the recommended 5 passes.
Framesi cannot guarantee longevity and condition of hair when using uncalibrated flat irons
with STRIKE4 processing sheets.
