## A quick 20-second test strand in the back of the head will determine if a lower flat iron temperature setting should be considered.

A quick 20-second test strand in the back of the head will determine if a lower flat iron  
temperature setting should be considered. Depending on the condition of the hair and how  
heavy the touch is, even lowering to 340 degrees will be successful.  
Consider using a lighter temperature setting…. You may even go lower to 340 degrees.
